Our Team

Born in 1969 in Moscow. He has higher juridical and military - political education. He has more than 25 years of work experience at top - management positions in international companies.

In 1994 he founded the film company “Narimanfilm” in Baku, Azerbaijan, with offices in Russia, the United Arab Emirates and Poland. The company mainly deals with the production of feature films and documentaries, line production of film projects in the above countries, promotion of Azerbaijani films around the world, and also operates an online cinema (VOD platform) - Azcinemaonline.

In September 2005 he became one of the founding members and member of the “Independent Film-makers’ Association of South Caucasus” (IFA-SC), and later was elected chairman of the board of the above organization.

In 2012, he became one of the founding members and deputy chairman of the “Guild of Producers of the Republic of Azerbaijan”. In July of the same year, he becomes one of the founding members, member of the board and secretary of the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Azerbaijan

On August 1, 2018 Nariman Mammadov was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan" by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Founder of “Salam International Youth Film Festival” which is founded on May 1st, 2019.

On 27th November, 2020 was awarded the Global Film Festival Noida international award "For Excellence in Cinema".

On 19th October, 2021 he became the chairman of the “Guild of Producers of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.

He is a producer of short and full-length feature films and documentaries.

Leyla Dostalizade was born in June 21, 1969 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
From 1986 to 1993 studied in Azerbaijan State Medical University. From 1994 to 2006 worked as a pediatrist – expert in resuscitation in Clinical Children’s Hospital №3 in resuscitation department in Baku.
In May, 2006 began to work as an office manager and later, as a line producer in “Narimanfilm” film Production Company. Later on, since June, 2006 she worked as an assistant of national office of Independent Filmmakers Association – South Caucasus (IFA-SC) in Baku. Since of May 2012 till November she worked as Deputy director at “Narimanfilm”. From November 2012 till March 2019 worked as a freelancer. From March 2019 began to work as Deputy Director of public relations in “Narimanfilm”. Art-director of “Salam” International Youth Film Festival, which was founded on May 1st, 2019.

Architect, continuously participating in international competitions with a holistic approach to any design process.

In 2010 Nargiz Baghirzade's story book “The Day After Tomorrow” was included in the long-list of the National Book Award of Azerbaijan. In the same year Nargiz became Presidential Scholarship for Young Azerbaijani Writers.
In 2013 her play “Face Book. Post Scriptum” (“Face Book. Life”), staged in Riga, Latvia and participated in international theater festivals.

2016 - Member of the jury of «Batumi International Art-house film festival», Georgia.
2018 - Member of the jury of «Potential» Film Platform, Russia.

Scriptwriter of feature films and series of Azerbaijani and Russian production – “Baku, I love you”, “Train called – time”, “Mothers of Champions”, “16+”, “The asphalt in summer is warm” (this script won the financial support of the Russian Ministry of Culture in 2021).

Her scripts have won several grants in Azerbaijan and Russia.

Promotes the festival in social networks. Sets targeted advertising, develops the community, creats engaging content and communicates with all participants on behalf of the festival.

Translator, an active youth worker, event manager/team leader/team member, intensively participating in multiple various activities and making contributions to the development of the society.

2016 – Winner of the Russian-Literature Republican Olympiad (1st place)
2017 – second time winner of the Russian-Literature Republican Olympiad (1st place)
2023 – Certificate for the thesis on the “Scientific work”.

Ayna Zarbaliyeva, 22, graduated from the Faculty of International Journalism of Baku State University with honors. Currently working as a radio host and information specialist of the Union of Theater Workers. Since childhood, have hosted TV shows (“Çoxbilmişlərdənsinizmi?”, “Dünyanın Aynası”), starred in tv-shows (“Nümunəvi ailə”) and movies (“Niyyət”, “Dərs”). As a hobby, doing cosplay, and also the permanent host of the largest cosplay and anime festival held in our country.

Member of the european jewish community in Baku

Graduated from HSE Art and Design school as an illustrator. Contemporary artist, photographer, knitted clothes and jewelry designer. Worked on the movie set, took part in the feature film “summer asphalt is warmer” as a costume designer assistant.
